Profile: Jake Clough

What I bring to Cooper & Hall:

Having been fascinated with buildings and construction for as long as I can remember it felt right to to pursue a career in it!  I grew up on a small family farm where there were always ongoing projects such as a barn conversion to a completely new two storey workshop. I helped quantify elements such as blocks required, and the amount of cement bags needed. Perhaps this is where I found my calling!

With my desire to learn about construction I have sought work experience aside from Quantity Surveying, such as Interior Design and Architecture. This combination of experience gives me a greater understanding of the processes within construction and the different stages that take place.

I am a consistent and hardworking person, eager to enhance my skills and abilities with Cooper & Hall and learn from their experienced team.

Prior to joining Cooper and Hall I was very keen on sport. Having played cricket and rugby for many years, as well as representing Scarborough athletics in track and field events, you could say I was very active! Nowadays though I prefer long walks with my Jack Russel, Wizz, and the occasional run to keep me fit!
