Newsfeed: A “marathon” achievement

Director Ian Wilcock recently took part in two marathons in just eight days and raised over £500 for St Michael’s Hospice. Ian was expecting to appear as an expert witness at an upcoming court case, but as the case date hadn’t been definitely set, he entered both the White Peaks and Edinburgh marathons, intending to run just one. However, when the case was postponed, Ian bravely decided to go ahead with both marathons. The White Peaks race was a particular challenge, with a hilly course and temperatures over 20c. Not bad for an old timer!
