Newsfeed: Hole lot of help for Callum

The Cooper & Hall golf day to help wheelchair athlete Callum Hall raised a fantastic £6,805.
The money will help the youngster continue his blossoming sporting career as a wheelchair racer, playing basketball and enabling him to complete his sports degree.

In the three years since Callum was paralysed after treading on a sea urchin off the Greek islands, he has overcome his disability to achieve UK Athletics accreditation. The money from the golf day, at Hollins Hall in Shipley, keeps him on course for GB Athletics status.

Dad Graham, a director at Cooper & Hall, thanked sponsors, businesses and individuals who donated raffle prizes, along with the golfers who paid to take part.

Said Graham: “Our family are immensely proud of Callum – he is an inspiration to all of us and everyone he meets. Watch this space!”
