New Director At C&H

Tom Hornsey has been appointed a Director at Cooper & Hall after rising through the ranks to lead the Pre-Construction team.

Since arriving at C&H from Shepherd Construction in 2009 Tom has worked across all areas of Quantity Surveying, focusing on BQ production and cost planning services.

Tom takes on the role as construction emerges from the double-hit of Brexit and Covid. He believes the company is well placed to ride the wave of optimism in the industry.

“There are positive signs, business is picking up,” he said. “We will continue to build on all the great relationships we have with people.

“Our tried and trusted methods mean we get repeat business. We work closely with clients, giving them the service they’re looking for.”

Tom’s skill with numbers is put to good use in his other role at C&H – as Finance Manager.

C&H recently secured contracts to work on a hotel and conference complex at Gateshead, an industrial unit at Doncaster and a residential scheme in Edinburgh’s New Town Quarter.
