Newsfeed: Ten grand gesture

Cooper & Hall played its part in a golf day that raised nearly £10,000 towards end-of-life hospice care for people suffering terminal illnesses.

The annual summer sporting event at Pannal Golf Club in Harrogate was another tremendous success, raising £9,944.

C&H Director Graham Hall said: “Everyone who takes part, whatever their ability, has a fantastic time.

“Even though we are now a Tadcaster-based company, Saint Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate remains our corporate charity and one that’s very close to our hearts.”
